We do drywall the way painters do drywall: the same crew that patches the hole sands it, primes it, and paints over it before they leave the house. Texture matched, color matched, and gone. Things homeowners ask.
Can you fix water damage in a ceiling?
Yes — once the leak above is fixed. We stain-block the damaged drywall, patch any soft or sagging sections, retexture to match, and paint over. If we suspect mold or active moisture, we'll tell you to call a plumber or restoration company first. We won't paint over a wet ceiling.
Do you patch popcorn ceilings?
Yes, but we always recommend removal if the home is pre-1980 and you don't know the testing history. For modern popcorn, we can spray-match a small patch invisibly. For full removal, that's a separate scope we'll quote alongside the patch — usually a one-day job per room.
How long does a drywall repair take?
Small patches (doorknob holes, nail pops) are typically done same-visit alongside a paint job. Larger sections — a wall corner, water-damaged ceiling panel — need a day for the compound to fully cure between coats. We'll tell you on the walk-through which category your repair falls into.
Can you match the texture of my walls?
Yes. We carry portable texture sprayers and we test the spray on a scrap board first to confirm orange peel, knockdown, or smooth match. Vintage skip-trowel and hand-troweled textures are also possible — they just take a few more minutes to dial in. The goal is no visible patch outline.
